Our Family & Friends
Family is one of the most important things in our life and we feel incredibly blessed by the close and loving relationships we share with both families.
Tyler is an only child raised by parents who have been happily married for 29 years, and Alyssa grew up with one brother and parents happily married for 31 years. Their examples of love, commitment, and family have helped shape the kind of family we hope to create together.
We are so grateful that both our families live only 10-20 minutes away allowing us to spend quality time together. Our families have blended so naturally, and we love spending holidays, vacations, and even simple Sunday dinners together as one big family. We are also fortunate to be surrounded by extended family, including many aunts, uncles, and cousins. They are all so supportive of our adoption journey and are excited to welcome a new little blessing into our family.
We’re also lucky to have a wonderful group of friends who feel like family. Some are already parents, and they’re just as excited as we are to welcome a little one into our lives. Our future child will be surrounded by a loving, supportive circle of friends from the very start.
