The Heart of Our Home
Alyssa is the sweetest person anyone will ever meet. She is a ray of sunshine, as our family likes to call her. She has a way of lighting up every room she walks into with her positive energy. She is also incredibly kind and caring, always putting everyone else before herself. Alyssa is the type of person who would stop to help even the smallest creature, so it's no surprise we've had a few kittens, roosters, butterflies and possums temporarily stay with us while they received a little extra care.
Alyssa also has the most adorable and silly personality, which always keeps us laughing, even when she doesn’t mean to. She is one of the smartest people I know, and I can’t wait for her to pass on that knowledge to our future child.
One of the things I love most about her is how family-oriented she is. It is clear to everyone how much family truly means to her. Ever since we started dating, I knew that Alyssa’s dream was to become a mom. After eight years together, I have no doubt that Alyssa will be an incredible mother. Her loving and nurturing heart makes it clear that she’s meant for it. I can’t wait to watch Alyssa become the great, caring, and supportive mother that she’s always dreamt about and that I know she will be!

Meet Alyssa
Ever since Alyssa was a little girl, she has dreamed of becoming a mom. She loved to be a big sister, play with her baby dolls and would even convince her younger brother to play house with her. When asked what she wanted to be when she grew up, her answer was simply “a mom.”
Alyssa comes from a large Puerto Rican family. She grew up surrounded by aunts, uncles, and cousins who all lived on the same block. Some of her best childhood memories include being outside with family, always having someone to play with, and enjoying authentic Puerto Rican dinners.
She has always been interested in health and nutrition and chose to study it in college. She continues to use what she learned in school as a part of her everyday life. She is passionate about cooking and loves to prepare homecooked meals with fresh, nourishing ingredients.
That love of health and food later grew into a love of homesteading. She enjoys tending to her vegetable garden, collecting fresh eggs from her chickens, and caring for her bees that produce honey. Being outside and nurturing her plants and animals brings her so much joy.
Alyssa also helps run the family business as a part time office manager, and she loves being able to work alongside Tyler.
Most of all, she cannot wait to become a mom. She is excited to embrace every moment of motherhood from bedtime stories to milestones and being a constant source of love and encouragement every step of the way.
